The work under this Contract generally consists of the Asphalt Resurfacing of Downie Street from the GEXR Railway Crossing to Ontario Street, Waterloo Street from Douro Street to Lakeside Drive, and Norfolk Street from Downie Street to Borden Street. Cambria Street, from Erie Street to St. Vincent Street, is included as a provisional item. The asphalt resurfacing activities primarily relate to the rehabilitation of the roadway asphalt by partial and full depth asphalt removal, brick road removal, adjustment of structures, drainage improvements, curb and gutter repairs, and new pavement marking. The Contractor will not be allowed to close any street without the express written consent of the City.
