| Description: |
The work under this Contract generally consists of the construction of multi-use trail on Oakdale Avenue from O’Loane Avenue to Forman Avenue. The project activities primarily include installation of temporary fencing, stripping of topsoil, tree removal, supplying, and placing granular material, asphalt multi-use trail construction, drainage improvements, driveway restoration, grading, berm construction, and tree planting as noted on the construction drawings. The project site is adjacent to two secondary schools, a recreational facility and childcare centre. The traffic management shall address both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Lane reductions will not be permitted between 8:00am – 9:00am or 3:00pm – 4:00pm. Construction shall start on the date of the City Engineer’s written order to commence on or about September 30th, 2024. The Bidder shall complete the work within a time to be known as the “Time for Completion” of 25 Working Days. |
