The City requires a vendor to provide a full winter maintenance program for transit bus stops and shelters located throughout the City. The term of the contract shall be two (2) years commencing October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027. Bidders must submit a firm rate for the first 2 years of the contract. At the direction of the Manager of Transit, this contract may be extended for up to two (2) additional, twelve (12) month periods (October 1, 2027, to March 31, 2028, and October 1, 2028, to March 31, 2029) for a maximum of thirty-six (36) months, at the same terms and conditions. If applicable, the rate of the subsequent two (2) years of the contract will be adjusted, on an annual basis, on the anniversary date of the contract, May 1st of each year, by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) calculation.

There are approximately 300 bus stops located throughout the City, including 60 bus stops with shelters.
