The work under this Contract generally consists of the installation of Pedestrian Crossovers at two (2) locations. The locations are Downie Street at West Gore Street / East Gore Street, and West Gore Street at Mowat Street. The work to be carried out under this contract shall include all labour, equipment and materials required to install Pedestrian Crossovers as per the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 15 – Pedestrian Crossing Treatments. The crossovers shall be equipped with a programmable ‘Polara’ AODA audible pedestrian pushbutton. The construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, ramps, and tactile plates will be completed by the City’s Annual Asphalt and Concrete Contractor following project completion. |
