| Description: |
The work under this Contract generally consists of the installation of an asphalt Multi-Use Trail on T.J. Dolan Drive from Centre Street to St. Vincent Street. This will include the removal of the existing asphalt roadway from St. Vincent Street to Centre Street and minor roadway improvements from St. David Street to Centre Street to accommodate a one-way road, on-street parking and multi-use trail.
The Contractor will be permitted to close T.J. Dolan Drive from Centre Street to St. David Street during construction. The contractor shall submit a traffic management and control plan to the Project Engineer for review and comment within seven (7) days of the contract award. The traffic management plan shall address both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Construction shall start on the date of the City Engineer’s written order to commence on or about August 30th, 2021. The Bidder shall complete the work within a time to be known as the “Time for Completion” of 25 Working Days. |
