The Corporation of the City of Stratford (hereafter referred to as ‘the City’) is the Consolidated Municipal Services Manager for the City of Stratford, Town of St. Marys, and County of Perth. The City is seeking proposals to increase new not-for-profit, full day licensed childcare spaces, in alignment with its Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) Directed Growth Priorities. Funding to support this project is being made available through the Canada-Ontario Early Learning and Child Care Infrastructure Fund (ELCC Infrastructure Fund). 

The ELCC Infrastructure Fund will support not-for-profit infrastructure projects with a goal of increasing access and inclusion in licensed childcare for underserved communities through the creation of new, licensed childcare spaces. The City has been provided an ELCC Infrastructure Fund grant of $1,619,188. The City must enter into a purchase of service agreement that will commit these funds by December 31, 2025. The successful proponent must spend these funds from the date the service agreement is executed to December 31, 2026.
